A postcard town nestled in the mountains of Maine, Bethel is perfect for a fall foliage bicycle tour Throughout our fall foliage bike trips, the mountains burn with fall color, the leaves crackle beneath your wheels, and the crisp air charms your senses.

Itinerary

Day 1Along the River

We meet in the early afternoon and enjoy a leisurely ride along the Androscoggin River with the Mahoosuc Mountains serving as the backdrop.

Day 2Cycling Evans Notch

We follow country roads to Gilead and Route 113, one of the prettiest roads in Maine. After a picnic lunch, choose a loop ride back to the inn or continue on to the village of Gorham, NH for stunning views of New Hampshire’s Presidential Range.

  • Cycling: 27,45 or 66 miles
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Lodging: The Bethel Inn

Day 3Around the Orchard and Hiking Table Rock

Winding our way out of town, we cycle through the White Mountain National Forrest and across gently rolling farmlands. Choose an early departure or accompany your leaders on the short hike to Table Rock, for wonderful views of Grafton Notch.

  • Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
