Is there a chance our trip will be canceled?

Summer Feet loves to run our trips and hates to cancel them.  If low enrollment potentially impacts the operation of one of our multi-day tours you have the following options

  1. We will run the trip for two people for an extra $500.00 per person.
  2. We will transfer you to another departure and offer a 10% discount.
  3. Refund your deposit

The exception to this policy is Force Mejerur events.

For all our day trips, the minimum number of participants is two.

What is Force Majeure?

We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected, or you otherwise suffer any loss, injury, death, inconvenience, or damage as a result of circumstances amounting to “force majeure.” “Force majeure” means any event or circumstances which we or the supplier of the services in question could not foresee or avoid. Such events and circumstances may include, acts of God, actual or threatened, war, insurrection, riots, strikes, civil action, decisions by governments or governing authority, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes of schedules or operational decisions of air carriers, terrorist activity or the threat thereof, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity, epidemics/pandemics or the threat thereof, quarantine, medical or customs or immigration regulation, delay, or cancellation, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

What is your cancellation policy?

Day Trips Cancellation Policy

Reservations require a $50.00 per person deposit, which is fully refundable in the event of a weather cancellation declared by Summer Feet Cycling. Refundable less $5.00 per person with 48-hour notification. Deposit is non-refundable in the event of a guest no-show or less than 48-hour cancellation.

Multi-Day Tours Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 61 days before departure, we will refund your deposit less a $200.00 per person cancellation fee.

If you cancel between 60 and 31 days before departure, you will receive a 50% refund or a 100% credit for future travel, valid for two years.

If you cancel 30 days or less before departure, there is zero refund. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, terrorism, civil unrest, or personal emergencies. In addition, there is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.

Our graduated and time-sensitive cancellation/refund policy is intended as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. Summer Feet Cycling uses participant Tour payments to prepare for the tour, pay its staff and suppliers, and other costs associated with its operations. It is difficult to ascertain the amount of actual loss or damages that would result if a participant or booking party cancels at a given point in time before the start of a tour. As a result, our policy reflects a reasonable estimate of the actual costs Summer Feet Cycling will incur in the event of participant or booking party cancellation at various points before Tour departure.

We strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance. Summer Feet Cycling LLC assumes no responsibility for non-refundable airline or hotel reservations or other travel costs. In the unlikely event that Summer Feet cancels a trip, you will receive a heartfelt apology, a tale of woe, and a 100% refund.
