Guides pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Portland, Maine for the transfer to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Today you visit the stunning Arethusa Falls, the tallest waterfall in the White Mountains. An easy hike along a stream starts your weeklong adventure.
Located in the heart of Crawford Notch, Mt. Tom offers nice views of the surrounding mountains and the Pemigewasset Wilderness.
Situated on the Maine/New Hampshire border, the Mahoosuc Mountains are the part of the White Mountains that extend into Maine. Today’s hike of Caribou Mountain offers hardwood forests, several waterfalls, and stunning view from the top.
Today we hike along the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy a 7-mile hike along the AT passing mountains ponds and across summits. The optional hike to Table Rock offers one of the best views in Western Maine.
Today you transfer across the State of Maine to Acadia National Park. The 5-hour drive is broken up by a visit to Gulf Hagas, called the Grand Canyon of the Northeast. Gulf Hagas is a gentle walk along the rim of a canyon carved through granite.
The twin peaks of Sargent and Penobscot Mountains are today’s conquests. Located in the heart of Acadia National Park, the hike of these two summits spends much of the day on a ridgeline with views of the ocean and Acadia National Park.
