We meet at our rental shop on Commercial Street. After a safety talk and an introduction to your e-bike, it is time to pedal. You will cycle along the Eastern Promenade Trail and past the East End Beach. Throw your bike into turbo mode and spin effortlessly to the top of the hill and to Fort Allen Park.
Standing guard over Portland for hundreds of years, Fort Allen Park offers the best view of Casco Bay and the Calendar Islands. Portland was founded in 1632, and your guides will share its rich history with you. From here, you will pedal along the Eastern Promenade, enjoying stunning views of Casco Bay and Back Cove.
Next, you cycle to the “Yeast Bayside” neighborhood, stopping at one of Portand’s award-winning breweries. After a leisurely pint, you will cycle along the ocean back to the starting point.
