Leaders will collect you in Halifax on the first morning of your bicycle tour of Nova Scotia. From here, we transfer to Wolfville. Your tour begins with a visit to Grand Pre, a museum commemorating the French Settlers expelled from Nova Scotia in the 18th century. After lunch, you will cycle between some of the area’s wineries before an optional swim.
Your ride today features the dykes built by the early settlers. Along the way, you will cycle past apple orchards and enjoy great views of Cape Blomidin. The ambitious can climb North mountain and descend to Hal’s Harbor. The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world hopefully we be able to see this amazing display
Your morning begins with a van transfer from the Fundy Shore to Atlantic Shore. From the Port Medway Lighthouse, you will cycle to visit a hidden cove. You will continue along the coast and stop to explore several small towns before cycling to Cresent Beach and the LaHavre Islands. A short ferry ride carries you across the LeHavre river before a short van ride to the town of Lunenberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Today’s ride takes you to the LeHavre Bakery a favorite stopping point for cyclists for decades. From here it is short cycle to The Ovens Natural Park to visit the sea caves. In the afternoon, take time to explore Lunenberg.
Today’s ride was built for cyclists. You follow coastal roads to the charming beach community of Mahone Bay. Take time to explore the town, stopping at a coffee shop or a microbrewery.
Today you will enjoy one of the most popular rides in all of Nova Scotia. Your ride takes you to the fishing villages of Blanford and Aspotogan and to Baywater Beach. They are several scenic side trips for those looking to maximize their miles. After lunch together, we transfer to Halifax.
