A Typical Day on a Summer Feet BicycleTour
6:00-9:00 am
Rollover and go back to sleep? Or get up and enjoy the early morning calm of the Maine Coast? The choice is yours. Early birds may hear the low growl of diesel engines as the lobster boats head out to haul their traps and will definitely encounter the trip leaders as they prepare for a wonderful day.
8:00-9:00 am
Breakfast! Most of our inns offer flexibility with breakfast. Whether you want to enjoy a leisurely gourmet meal and extra cup of coffee or sleep until the last minute and grab a quick bowl of granola and some fresh fruit, the choice is entirely yours.
9:30 am
Route Review. We gather as a group to review the day’s ride and the highlights of the day. Each day will offer choices for cycling distance and you never have to choose the distance you wish to cycle until you get to that fork in the road.
9:45 am
Once everyone is comfortable with the day’s route, you are free to cycle away at your own pace. Some folks may go off in flash while others may dawdle. The best way to experience the Maine Coast is on the seat of a bicycle.
