Bicycle Tours in Maine & Beyond

Rediscover the Carefree Joy of Summer

Why the Name Summer Feet?

Summer Feet – Maine Coast Cycling Adventures was born from the nostalgia of carefree summer days along the Maine coast. As we adapted to the freedom of summer, we embraced the rhythm of the season, perfecting our bare-footed exploration of the shores and woods. Inspired by these experiences, I combined my love for cycling with Maine’s natural beauty to create Summer Feet, offering unique cycling trips that blend youthful adventure with adult comforts—beautiful rides, charming inns, delightful restaurants, and friendly guides, all designed to let you move at your own pace and fully enjoy the outdoors. I hope that you will join us.

Many Happy Days,
Norman

My wife and I just completed the weeklong gold coast tour. The whole week was fantastic. Bike rides where picturesque.. The 2 hotels and towns we stayed at were great and the food was excellent the whole week.. An amazing week — would recommend to anyone looking for a bicycle vacation.”

“There are no accolades sufficient enough to capture how incredibly pleased we were with our Summer Feet Cycling experience! Each day offered fabulous exposure to the coast of Maine. The trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Deep appreciation for the Summer Feet team and all of the attention to detail they give to planning and offering such an extraordinary trip. We enjoyed the Multi-Sport in Penobscot Bay option which included biking, hiking, kayaking and sailing. Highly recommend it with no hesitations.

“My two daughters and I did the Pedal-the-Coast self-guided 7-day tour in Maine June 2025. It was completely wonderful. Bikes were in excellent condition. The Ride-with-GPS instructions were spot-on, and each day's rides were well-described in the guide. The lodging accommodations were first rate. Needless to say, the Maine cost was gorgeous, and Acadia Park was spectacular. The SummerFeet staff were terrific at all stages of our tour, from the pre-tour preparations to the last day airport drop off. We've been on several self-guided tours before, and this was the best.

Our Summer Feet cycle along the Maine coast was glorious. In early September, we had perfect weather. We cycled along breathtaking views. Then we caught our breath in quaint Maine towns and fishing villages. Each evening our luggage was waiting for us at a charming inn, where we were served breakfast before heading out the next morning. The Summer Feet staff were friendly and efficient. We will hope to plan another Summer Feet trip soon! Pedal The Coast
