Lights and Sights E-Bike Tour in Portland, Maine Itinerary

Daily Tour Lights and Sights E-Bike Tour of Portland Maine

Portland is a city best experienced slowly — and on an e-bike, you’ll see more of it than most locals ever do.

This guided e-bike tour takes you through the full sweep of Portland’s peninsula, from its most celebrated viewpoints to the neighborhoods most visitors never find. You’ll ride the Eastern Promenade Trail with sweeping views of Casco Bay, explore the Victorian architecture of the Western Promenade, and cross the Casco Bay Bridge to visit iconic lighthouses — including Portland Head Light, one of the most photographed spots in New England.

Along the way, your guide shares the stories that bring it all to life — the fort that defended Portland from 1775 through the War of 1812, the great fire of 1866 that reshaped the city, and the small neighborhood locals call “Yeast Bayside,” home to eleven makers of fermented beverages.

Lunch is a lobster roll from Bite Into Maine, served at Fort Williams Park. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.

The e-bike makes it all effortless. Hills that would slow you down on a standard bike become part of the scenery. You arrive everywhere feeling great — and ready for whatever comes next.
